is a queer Polish photographer based in Tio'tia:ke, Montreal. Her work addresses themes of identity, gender, body and marginalized communities. Through intimate portraiture, she creates process-oriented and vulnerable images that approach socio-political and intersectional issues through tenderness and humour. Kinga is currently an MFA candidate studying photography at Concordia University. She holds a B.A in Cultural Studies from Warsaw University and a diploma from Warsaw School of Photography. Over the last two years she has exhibited her work in Canada, Poland and Germany in multiple solo and group shows. Kinga supplements her photographic work with various somatic dance practices which contribute to her deeper understanding of queer embodiment.
