I am a queer Polish visual artist based in Tio'tia:ke Montreal. I work primarily with mediums of photography and moving image. I use intimate portraiture, documentary film, and diaristic writing to create personal works which confront socio-political issues with tenderness and humor. My research explores questions of identity, body, transmission of memory and healing. I am currently an MFA candidate studying photography at Concordia University. Over the last two years my work has been exhibited in Canada, UK, Poland, and Germany in multiple solo and group shows. I supplement my visual work with various somatic dance practices which contribute to my deeper understanding of queer embodiment. I am committed to cultivating a language of care and fostering community as an extension of my practice. I am involved in LGBTQ+ community organizing in Poland, such as running Rabarbar Queer Film Festival
in collaboration with Queerowy Maj in Cracow.
